SYNC – Maniacs of Disappearance synchronized

Published in Portugese as a public information folder for the visitors of the XXIV Bienal de São Paulo in 1998, about the Dutch entry of this Biennial. Nathalie Houtermans co-curated the Mark Manders exhibition and co-editted the catalogue with Saskia Bos.

Text about the CELL – Initiators of Incidents – project with the same titel, published in Circa Art Magazine #90, Art & Technology suplement, Dublin, Ireland, 1999. Nathalie Houtermans shows how a Batbot, Chimeras, and Doubtful Species became inhabitants of a Rotterdam zoo.

Text (in English and Croatian) for a catalogue of a solo-exhibition of Dan Oki’s work in Galerije Umjetnina in Split, Croatia in 2000: media-installations (consisting of video/computer, slides, virtual sculpture, photography and sound) of virtual hybrid animals.
INTRACORP
INTRACORP was an exhibition presented in the the visiting day centre of a Rotterdam hospital. Besides artworks, a catalogue (a set of ‘patient appointment cards’), a multiple (a ‘first help kit’ with various artists contributions) and a website were produced. All texts where written a pseudo ‘instructions for use of medicine’ style.
